2010 Annual
Conference Project Management Program
Track
Midwest Decision Sciences Institute
(MWDSI) is pleased to launch the Project Management Program Track in
partnership with the Decision Sciences Institute. In an effort to increase
teaching and research interest in Project Management and further the partnership
between MWDSI and its parent institution, several sessions on project
management will be offered at the 2010 MWDSI Annual Meeting in Toledo. The
intent is to draw from the collective membership of both organizations to
establish these sessions. Sessions are planned on general Project Management
issues, Information Technology Project Management, and Project Management
Instruction. Negotiations are underway for possible fast-tracking of quality
papers to related journals and for presentations by a Project Management
society on practice and instructional issues. Paper submissions should follow
the Annual Meeting guidelines.
Competitive papers or detailed abstracts
and proposals for symposia, tutorials and workshops are invited for, but not
limited to, general Project Management issues, Information Technology Project
Management, and Project Management Instruction. Sessions involving
practitioners will be given special consideration. All papers will be blind
refereed electronically, and accepted papers will be published in the
conference Proceedings. Abstracts should be of sufficient detail to indicate
clearly the objectives of the research. Preference is given to completed
papers. It is understood that submissions have not been previously published in
a Proceedings or journal, nor are submissions currently under review for
publication or presentation elsewhere. Submission of a paper implies that an
author will register for the conference, attend the conference, and personally
present the paper, if accepted. All papers, abstracts and workshop proposals
must be submitted electronically on or before February 15, 2010. Please visit http://MWDSI2010.utoledo.edu for details and
updates.
